Welcome! My name is Alexander Jung, and I am a tenured Associate Professor in Machine Learning at Aalto University, Finland. With over 15 years of experience in research and education, I am passionate about advancing the field of machine learning and mentoring the next generation of AI and data science experts.
My Background
I earned my Dipl.-Ing. (MSc) and Dr.techn. (PhD) degrees in electrical engineering and signal processing from TU Vienna in 2008 and 2012, respectively. Currently, I lead the Machine Learning for Big Data group at the Department of Computer Science at Aalto University. My research focuses on:

- Machine Learning for Big Data Applications
